מהי תוכנית "Navigator" והאם היא מתאימה לילדי?

תוכנית "Navigator" מיועדת לתלמידים מחוננים במיוחד (בעלי IQ של 140 ומעלה) בכיתות ב'-ה'. תוכנית ייחודית זו מספקת סביבת למידה מיוחדת המנצלת את החוזקות האינטלקטואליות הייחודיות של התלמידים. כיתות "Navigator" ממוקמות ב אקסלסיור ו- נופים מרהיבים בתי ספר יסודיים, אך הם מקבלים תלמידים מכל רחבי המחוז ומחוצה לו במסגרת רישום פתוח.

Please join us for a virtual meeting to learn about the Navigator Program and the ways we serve highly gifted learners. You will hear from the Navigator Director, current Navigator teachers, and parents who have children in our classrooms. You’ll learn about the instructional approach and philosophy of the program, as well as the application and assessment process.There are two dates we will be hosting the parent information sessions

  • Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

Please complete this brief registration form before noon of the day you wish to attend. On the day of the session, you will receive a Google Meeting link via the email account you used to register. We hope you’ll join us!

If you are unable to attend one of the sessions above, a recording of a prior information session is available upon request. To request access to the recording, please email Joe Nelson at joseph.nelson@minnetonkaschools.org. In your email, kindly include your student's name, grade level, and a brief explanation of your interest in the Navigator program.

The Navigator application for the 2027-2028 school year will begin accepting applications on October 1, 2026. You will find the link to the application here at that time.
